Madison County Health Care System (MCHCS) is a modern 25 bed licensed critical access facility located in Winterset, Iowa, the county seat of Madison County. Established in 1949, the medical center meets the needs of the 5,200 residents of Winterset and over 15,000 area residents. The medical center is served by six physicians and six mid-level providers. Twenty specialists bring their sevices to MCHCS to meet the needs of the area residents. These specialites include: Audiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Mental Health, Neurology, Oncology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology(Ear, Nose and Throat), Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, Urology, Women's Health (OB/GYN) and Vascular studies.
