Stewart Memorial Hospital is a critical access hospital. It is the largest employer in Calhoun County. Its employees reside in 41 different communities, includes 15 providers. With its affiliate, McCrary Rost Clinic, it provides general and orthopaedic surgery, obstetric care and a state of the art birthing center. Physical, occupational, respiratory and infusion therapy are provided on site. Diagnostics include nerve conduction testing, stress testing, sonography, bone density testing, MRI, CT scans and laboratory testing. Home care and hospice services are available as well as Sleep Studies, Cardiac Rehabilitation (Phase 1 Phase 2 and Phase 3) provided on site and retail pharmacy services located at each of the clinic locations.
Leased space in our facility provides services to local dental and vision clinics and outpatient contracted physicians for 12 specialty clinics. McCrary Rost Clinic boasts one of the two State of Iowa Certifide Bariatric Physicians. An occupational health service program has been initiated in 2011.
